Tackling the Cost of Living Crisis
Tackling the Cost of Living Crisis
Lowering the Cost of Homeowners, Car, and Flood Insurance
Across this district, families are being crushed by skyrocketing insurance costs. We shouldn’t have to navigate surging premiums or watch neighbors forced from their homes as their rates triple. We must lower insurance costs, crack down on corporate fraud, and restore transparency and stability to a broken industry.
Driving Housing Costs Down
In Pinellas, families are being squeezed by soaring mortgages and rents that have doubled or tripled in just a few years. Housing is the pillar of a stable community. When families can no longer afford to live where they work, our entire economy suffers. We must make housing affordable for all Pinellas residents.
Reducing Healthcare Costs for Families and Small Businesses
As Florida’s healthcare and insurance costs outpace the national average, affordable care is out of reach for middle-class Pinellas families, seniors, veterans, and small businesses. Our healthcare system must operate with the same precision and accountability as our most critical institutions. We must make affordable, quality, dependable care a reality for every resident of the 13th District.
Lower the Cost of Everyday Essentials
We have an affordability crisis in this country and Washington is ignoring it. Tackling the suffocating prices of groceries, gas, and every day goods must be Congress’s top priority. As families and businesses struggle, we must work aggressively to lower costs for Florida families by attacking the actual drivers of inflation: illegal tariffs, broken supply chains, political corruption, burdensome regulations, and corporate monopolies - not by adding more bureaucracy or red tape.
