ST. PETERSBURG — Today, Retired Brigadier General Leela Gray’s campaign for Congress released its first general election ad, “Mission.” The spot highlights Gray’s 30 years of service in the Army as a stark contrast against Anna Paulina Luna’s record of corruption in Washington. The ad is on the airwaves with a six-figure buy, running on television and digital platforms throughout Florida’s 13th Congressional District.
FL-13 now ranks among the nation’s top battleground races. A recent House Majority PAC poll found Gray leading Luna 51% to 46% in a district Trump won in 2024 by 13 points. The first TV ad from either campaign, “Mission” sets the terms for this toss-up election.

Luna is busy enriching herself off her donors’ oil company and allegedly sharing insider information with another donor for them to profit on prediction markets — all while continuing to rubber stamp the war in Iran and tariff taxes driving up costs for Floridians.
While Luna is a typical politician working for herself and her wealthy friends, Leela Gray spent 30 years putting service over self and is proposing concrete solutions through her Anti-Corruption Agenda to make government work for the people once she is elected to Congress.
Ad Script
“While serving on combat deployment, the mission is what mattered. I'm retired Brigadier General Leela Gray. I served our country for 30 years, and now I'm running for Congress, focused on one mission: making life more affordable.
“Anna Paulina Luna is part of the problem in D.C., including the culture of corruption. She's giving insider information to her donor while our costs are out of control.
"I'm Leela Gray. I will always focus on the mission, serving you, and that's why I approve this message.”
