St. Petersburg, FL — Today, Retired Brigadier General Leela Gray’s campaign for Congress released a new television and digital ad, “Swamp.” The ad holds Anna Paulina Luna accountable for being a Washington politician getting rich investing in her donor’s oil company and reportedly giving her donor insider information to profit off prediction markets while Floridians struggle to pay more for gas, groceries and insurance.

As General Gray’s campaign continues to build the momentum needed to win, FL-13 has emerged as one of the nation’s top battleground races. Nonpartisan national race raters Inside Elections, Cook Political Report, and Fox News have all moved the race in Gray’s direction. And recent polling from the House Majority PAC has Gray leading Luna 51% to 46%, winning unaffiliated voters by 17 points, 1 in 4 Republicans, and 9% of Trump 2024 voters.

Watch the full ad here.

While Luna is a typical politician working for herself and her wealthy friends, Leela Gray spent 30 years putting service over self and is proposing concrete solutions through her Cutting Costs Agenda and Anti-Corruption Agenda to make government work for the people and lower costs for families struggling.

Ad Script

VO: Washington politicians don’t care about public service.

Anna Paulina Luna: “The Swamp is alive and well.”

VO: You should know Anna. Anna Paulina Luna is part of the swamp. Getting rich while investing in an oil company she was supposed to regulate and accused of giving her donor insider information all while we struggle to pay for groceries, gas, and insurance.

General Leela Gray: I’m Leela Gray, I approve this message because we need leaders serving us not themselves.
