RATINGS CHANGE: Cook Political Report Shifts FL-13 in Leela Gray’s Direction

St. Petersburg, FL — Today, Cook Political Report shifted FL-13 from Likely to Lean Republican. This marks the third ratings change this week in favor of retired Army Brigadier General Leela Gray in her race against self-serving extremist Anna Paulina Luna. Gray released the following statement on Cook’s shift:
“Our campaign’s momentum is undeniable. The people of FL-13 are ready for proven leaders who will tackle the cost of living crisis and root out corruption in Washington. In 39 days, we are going to defeat Anna Paulina Luna, bring responsible leadership back to our country, and make Washington work for the families of Pinellas and Pasco counties.”

Earlier this week, Fox News also shifted the race in FL-13 to Lean Republican
The Tampa Bay Times similarly moved Luna’s seat from “Potentially Vulnerable” to “Vulnerable.”
Luna recently made a desperate and failed attempt to remove Gray’s first ad from the airwaves.
Recent polling shows Gray leading in this race – with a House Majority PAC poll showing Gray ahead of Luna 51% to 46% in a district Trump won in 2024 by 13 points.
Gray is also winning unaffiliated voters by 17 points and winning over one in four Republicans.
And, with Donald Trump’s job approval underwater in FL-13 by 14 points, a full 9% of 2024 Trump voters are backing Gray.
